Want to change Control Centers default http port

  • 1.  Want to change Control Centers default http port

I've noticed Control Centers is using http(80) and https(443) as a default port and
I want to change this because this server will be used for other apache httpd service.
I tried to change SERVICED_UI_PORT to other port like 1443
and it worked for https(443) but http(80) is still active and it keeps forwarding to 443.
I also want to change http(80) so where is the configuration for this or is there operation to change this.
Control Center's version is the newest 1.6.3

    • The newest control center is 1.8.0, not 1.6.3
    • I am running 1.6.5, and have also seen this behavior. The only workaround I have found is to make sure that whatever other application you want binding port 80 starts before serviced. Serviced will ignore its inability to bind port 80
    • There are other problems with changing SERVICED_UI_PORT. For whatever reason, the internal proxying done by control center's container proxy does not pick up on the fact that SERVICED_UI_PORT has changed and when parts of the zenoss application want to talk to control center, the API requests still go to port 443 on the master. This affects the following parts of zenoss:

    ------------------------------
    FirstName LastName
    CompanyName
    ------------------------------

    Thanks for the reply.
I think I should give up using 80 and 443 port.
It sounds that I should not touch with this.
